RICHARD C. GRAMLICH, ESQ.

Richard C. Gramlich focuses his practice on Construction, Commercial and Business Litigation, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Product Liability. He routinely represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and owners in construction defect, non-pay/stop-pay claims, Mechanic’s Lien foreclosure, delay claims, professional negligence, Registrar of Contractor’s hearings, and general breach of contract, subcontract, or supplier open accounts. Mr. Gramlich was the lead counsel for the Scottsdale “W” Hotels construction defect and delay claim, which involved millions of dollars’ worth of defects and delays as the result of incomplete and inadequate plans, contractor critical path delays, and significant MEP conflicts and defects.  He was successful in reaching a significant settlement on behalf of his clients from both the general contractor and the architect. Mr. Gramlich has significant experience with geotechnical issues and the construction practices required in connection therewith. He has successfully tried Construction Defect, Business Tort, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Insurance Bad Faith actions resulting in significant recoveries. Mr. Gramlich has had some of the largest per home verdicts in Arizona for damage caused by expansive soil.1

Mr. Gramlich graduated from the University of Arizona in Business Administration and Real Estate, cum laude, in 1989 and from the Arizona State University College of Law, in the top third of his class, in 1992.  He has been practicing law for the last 22 years in both State and Federal Court, is a member of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, has sat as Chairman on numerous Planning and Zoning Committees, and holds a Real Estate License.
