Biography

Sarah K. Deutsch primarily focuses her practice on probate and trust litigation, elder law, and estate and trust administration. Sarah represents clients in matters such as will and trust contests, allegations of breach of fiduciary duty, surcharge or financial exploitation, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Sarah also provides thoughtful and practical guidance to trustees, personal representatives, creditors, heirs and beneficiaries.

Sarah has a strong and sophisticated litigation background with experience practicing before state and federal courts, arbitration forums, and government and administrative agencies. Sarah’s experience spans all stages of litigation, including trials and appeals, and Sarah has handled complex litigation matters nationwide. Sarah has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, giving her a unique perspective and allowing her to effectively and efficiently advocate for her clients and ultimately serve her clients’ best interests.

Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University and the Barrett Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies. Sarah earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review, a legal research and writing teaching assistant, and federal court judicial intern. Sarah is a graduate of the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy, a repeatedly recognized Super Lawyers Rising Star, and co-author of multiple published articles.

Sarah is a transplant from Wisconsin. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, doing pilates, and volunteering. Sarah was honored to receive The Junior League of Phoenix Sandra Day O’Connor Community Service Award in 2014 and be selected as the Arizona State University Justice Studies Outstanding Undergraduate Alumna for 2017.
