February 05, 2012 - By MICHAEL E. TIFFANY
Tiffany & Bosco continued its support of the Waste Management Phoenix Open that was held at the TPC Scottsdale January 30th through February 5th, 2012. This “Greatest Show on Grass” began in 1932, making it one of the five oldest Tournaments on the PGA Tour. This year, the nationally televised sporting event attracted approximately 538,000 spectators. Kyle Stanley took home the $1,098,000 first place check, part of the $6,100,000 purse, by scoring an overall 15 under par.
The major focus of this popular event is fund-raising for The Thunderbirds Charities, an affiliate of The Thunderbirds. Again, Tiffany & Bosco underwrote a two story Sky Box on the 18th hole for the enjoyment of its clients and friends. With its contribution, the firm added to the funds to be donated by The Thunderbirds Charities. The Thunderbirds have given over $75 million to worthy causes and charities in the community.
